AMED TIMES - 115 inmates and staff at the Diyarbakır Prison Campus who were hospitalized with suspected poisoning have been discharged after treatment. 76 people, 62 of whom were inmates and 14 of whom were staff, fell ill after lunch yesterday at the prisons on the campus and were taken to hospitals in the city by 112 Emergency Health Teams.
They were discharged.
16 inmates and 11 prison staff were discharged after treatment. 46 inmates and 3 staff members are still being treated, while 30 other inmates and 9 staff members who later fell ill were taken to hospitals by ambulance.
A total of 76 inmates and 12 staff members were discharged after completing treatment.
The judicial and administrative investigation into the incident, which affected 115 inmates and staff, is ongoing and the samples taken from the food are being analysed.
