AMED TIMES - An indictment has been prepared against the female student B.Y, who stabbed Associate Professor Dr. Yunus Yılmaz at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Dicle University, allegedly because he gave her a low grade.
Associate Professor Dr. Yunus Yılmaz, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Dicle University, was attacked by a student who allegedly received a low grade from him.
The incident occurred on September 8, 2023. Associate Professor Dr. Yunus Yılmaz, Deputy Dean of Dicle University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was injured in a knife attack in his office.
After being taken into custody, the student was released after a while. An indictment has been prepared against the assailant.
In the indictment, it was emphasized that based on the doctor's report, witness and victim statements, and security camera footage from the corridor outside the office, it is evident that the defendant B.Y is guilty of intentionally causing injury with a weapon.
